A brian clarke recommendation before he was 'DISAPPEARED'. The Film above was meant to be included in one of his last articles, which I had not finished researching for him, before he was"DISAPPEARED'.
'The War on Democracy' John Pilger film for cinema. John has a career that has produced over 55 documentaries. This film set in Latin America and the US, explores the current relationship of Washington with countries such as Venezuela, Bolivia and Chile as result of applying British invasion techniques learned in places like Occupied Ireland.
"The film tells a universal story," says John Pilger, "analysing and revealing, through vivid testimony, the story of great power behind its venerable myths. It allows us to understand the true nature of the so-called war on terror".
APPENDIX; Irish Journalist 'DISAPPEARED' Investigating Child Rape as Political Tool in British Occupied Ireland
Many journalists disappear while doing their work. Some of them are feared dead. Often no bodies are found, and they are therefore not classified as "Killed." If a journalist disappears after being held in government custody, he or she is classified as "imprisoned" as a way to hold that particular government accountable for the journalist's fate.
The film above is how the Americans having learned their trade from the British Imperialists and have applied those counter-revolutionary tactics it in Latin America to produce pseudo-democratic governments as in British Occupied Ireland.I highly recommend it as way of understanding todays reality in British Occupied Ireland, Latin America, Vietnam, the Phillipines, Korea and all of the ex- colonies of their mentors the old colonial power the UK, where there has been war, rape and pillage. I ask you to do all in your power to stop the rape of Irish children by Imperialist powers in Ireland and elsewhere.
